Keep more control over how your personal data is shared and with whom
MeasureOne is a data infrastructure company that utilizes a Consumer-Permissioned Data approach to deliver only the required data on your behalf, to a requesting party, in exchange for products and services. Built with consumers in mind, our platform requires you to confirm and give consent to the data you share. MeasureOne will never share access to more sensitive or unnecessary data.
Our product is thoughtfully designed with a consumer-first approach. We focus on transparency, security, privacy, and ease of use to make your experience as simple as possible. Learn more about your safety with our product & how it works.
How our Consumer-Permissioned Data Platform Works
YOU GIVE PERMISSION AND ACCESS
You give permission to MeasureOne to access your personal data for the specific purpose(s) of the requesting business. You log into your online account within the MeasureOne platform to connect your source data.
MEASUREONE ACCESSES YOUR CONSUMER-PERMISSIONED DATA
Once connected, MeasureOne retrieves your consumer-permissioned source data. This data may include transcripts, student profile information, payroll stubs, earning statements, or employee profile information.
MEASUREONE PROVIDES YOUR CONSENTED DATA TO BUSINESS
MeasureOne analyzes your permissioned data and extracts the information necessary to complete the requesting business's request. ONLY the necessary information is extracted and shared.
For example, in an enrollment verification, a college transcript can be used to verify enrollment. However, MeasureOne will only share the enrollment information extracted from the transcript and not share the full transcript with the verifying party without explicit consumer consent.
How Data is Handled
With your permission, MeasureOne accesses and pulls source data from a trusted data source. We do not share that source data without your permission. For example, we may use your paystub to verify your employer’s name or gross salary but we will not share that paystub without your explicit consent.
Below are examples of the types of data we share with your consent
- Degrees earned
- Schools attended
- GPA
- Prior employer's name
- Prior job title
- Hire dates and end dates for previous jobs
- Gross salary
- Employer's name
- Current enrollment status
- School name
